How did you become the Savvy Sister that you are today?
I don't think I knew I was a "Savvy Sister" until other women in really amazing positions in life started to acknowledge my gifts and my business'.By amazing positions I mean, loving, happy, healthy and killing it in their industry. I am a wife, a mother of two and a serial entrepreneur to say the least. I run an event and logistics company- Precision Events and Logistics, that my brother and I began in December 2016. That same year, I launched my clothing company The Brand Label. Between 2016 (the year I got married and had my first son) and 2020, I've travelled the US and overseas operating professional level events, entered the trucking industry, and birthed another beautiful boy. I am currently relaunching T.B.L. under its new name Alexandria.TheBrand November 27th 2020. Following the relaunch, my husband and I will be releasing our men's clothing line For The Gods December 2020.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
When things get tough I reflect. I ask myself " Is this in-or out of my control?" to gain a better understanding of the "problem". Nevertheless- meditation, grounding, singing, dancing and laughing is how I get through any obstacle.
What's one of the biggest lessons you've learned since starting your own business?
One of the biggest lessons I've learned in business is : 1) Stay true to who you are and 2.) Be consistent af.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give younger you?
If I could go back in time, I would tell my younger self.... "Baby you shinin'. No matter what people say, your vision is GOLDEN. Your gifts will make way for you. Practice, Practice, Practice."
What are three of your greatest strengths?
Three of my greatest strengths are public relations, my irreplaceable vibe, and my genuine expression of love for all walks of life.
What's your go to stress reliever?
My go to stress reliever is confiding in my husband. He constantly brings balance, tranquility and a bright perspective to any situation I may find stressful.
What's something you're currently celebrating?
I am so great full to have so many amazing women in business around me. I remember a time that I prayed for this very moment.
